The exceptions manage allows you to manage exceptions that are triggered in the system.
Exceptions are triggered by either:
- Automated processes within the platform
- User's triggering a manual exception
Exceptions include the following information:
- The type of exception
- The type of object the exception is for
- The reference for the object the exception is for
- Details of the exception
- When and who raised the exception
- When and who acknowledged the exception (is working on it)
- When and who closed the exception
Accessing The Exceptions Manager
You load the exceptions manager by:
- Clicking the [ USER ] menu in the very top right of the screen
- Select the [ EXCEPTIONS ] option
This will show all open exceptions
Acknowledging Exceptions
The way your colleagues will know that you are working on the exception is by acknowledging the exception.
The user is working on the exception will be displayed above the exception details.
To acknowledge an exception:
- Click the [ EYE ] icon at the top of the exception details
Once acknowledged you can unacknowledge the exception by clicking on the [ EYE STRIKE THROUGH ] icon at the top of the screen
Viewing Exception Object
You can link directly to the object in the system that the exception is related to.
You click the [ LINK ] icon at the top of the screen.
Closing Exceptions
To close the exception once it has been handled, click the [ CHECK ] icon at the top of the screen to close the exception.
