Automatically Building The Movement Plan
CocoonOPS is able to build standardised movement plans for your consignment based on the customer instructions and freight attached to the consignment.
Building Movements
Once you have entered the customer instructions and freight information on a consignment, CocoonOPS can help you start building the movement plan that allow you to manage the transport for your customer’s freight.
The minimum information required is:
- Customer
- Consignor or Collection address
- Consignee or Delivery address
- The ports the consignment will transit if it’s air or sea freight
- Attach freight to the consignment
Once these are attached you can start building the movements for the consignment by:
- Click on the [ ACTIONS ] on the right hand side of the scree
- Select the [ BUILD MOVEMENTS ] option
You will then be taken to the movements tab.
Rebuilding Movements
Sometimes the plan changes and you need to drastically change the movement plan.
You can have CocoonOPS rebuild your movement plan automatically.
To do this:
- Click the [ ACTIONS ] dropdown on the right hand side of the screen
- Select the [ DELETE & REBUILD MOVEMENTS ]
- On the dialog box that is displayed, click the [ CONFIRM ] button
This operation cannot be undone
This operation will remove any carrier or date information that was attached to the movements
