Goods

Goods

In CocoonOPS goods are never transported directly, they must be contained within pieces of freight.

Examples of goods are:
  • Items packed in a box/crate
  • Boxes stacked on a pallet
  • Pallets/boxes stacked inside a shipping container
To add goods to a piece of freight:
  1. Click and drag the packaging for goods / item
  2. Drop it onto the piece of freight it should be contained in
The properties to the newly added freight will automatically open.

Info
If you cancel the change to the properties dialog which opens automatically when added goods to freight, this will not cancel the add goods operation.

The goods will be displayed within the bounds of the freight to show the goods belong to it.

The goods properties dialog allows you to provide all the information about the goods, this includes goods level information for customs clearance.
