Notifications are messages that are sent to external parties by the system.
The following general settings can be configured:
For each notification you can set the content that is included in the message. This content is added to the notification above the content that is automatically generated by the system that relates to a specific notification.
You also specify the recipients of the notification. These are the names of the parties from the quote or consignment that should receive the notification automatically.
For example, if you select “customer”, the system will send the notification to the contact selected as the customer party on a quote/consignment.
The timing for when notification should automatically be sent by the system is configured through the workflows screen in settings, by selecting one of the notification types from the task type. The system notification robot will use the deadline of created tasks to send out a notification to the selected parties.
